Job Summary

3 month Internship to gain experience towards practicing Occupational Psychology

Personal Specification

• Have gained a BA degree in Psychology 2:1 minimum and/or working towards MSc/MA in Occupational Psychology
• Self motivated and willing to learn
• Problem solver
• Team player
• Attention to detail
• Able to ask for help when needed
• Some knowledge of human interaction in employment situations
• Some experience of researching information
• Some experience of analysing quantitative and qualitative data
• Some experience of writing analytical and critical research reports
• Some experience of working with SPSS and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities / Duties

You will not be responsible for any one aspect to the role, but will be working with our consultants in potentially two areas - Analysing assessment data which will include:

• Analysing and interpreting assessment data from our reporting system
• Running raw data through SPPS or Excel to obtain meaningful information about the assessment
• Collating assessment data for reports
• Writing an assessment reports with an Occupational Psychologist
• Compiling the assessment data into presentations
• Accompanying the Occupational Psychologist when presenting assessment data
• Assisting with the lessons learned from administration of the assessment
• Assisting in the compilation of data to validate assessments
• Assisting with validation reports
• Compiling information for Executive Development Centres, which will include:
• Compiling data with an Occupational Psychologist
• Designing a new Assessment Centre
• Researching information
• Assisting with organising resources
• Administering psychometric tests
• Coordination of the Assessment Centre
• Assisting with the writing of individual personal development plans and feedback reports
• Assisting with the lessons learned from the design and administration of the Assessment Centre
