Job task analysis

Job task analysis

Cognisco Learning & Appraisal Consultants use a variety of techniques and methods to analyse job roles and provide descriptions of on-the-job activities necessary for all positions within an organisation.

The Cognisco approach to Job Analysis will determine which tasks each employee is required to complete and the standards to which the employee has to complete them. Cognisco will provide the organisation with three important tools:

bullet point Job breakdowns - Helps plan training, identify which tasks are needed or are exempt and to identify areas to be added or subtracted in order to improve productivity and efficiency

bullet point Task lists - A breakdown of employee duties tailored to the individuals

bullet point Performance Indicators - An identified set of standards, which indicate the satisfaction level for each completed task

Cognisco specialises in customised job analysis for such clients in a diverse range of sectors such as public safety, finance, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, change management consultants, FMCG, utility, & transportation.

We deliver our Job Analysis Programme using direct face-to-face meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) or, more typically, using our web conferencing facility. The use of web-conferencing enables global customers to benefit from our job analysis expertise and brings together non co-located SMEs in ‘virtual’ group meetings. Our job analysis is fast, accurate and customised to our client’s work environment, culture and workforce needs.
